11+ FSCE group

Service Description

Our 11+ FSCE group sessions are designed to cover the Year 5 and 6 content for Maths and English that children need to pass the 11+ at Colyton Grammar School, including creative writing. We build upon children's prior learning, learn new skills and practise completing short tests, which inform my ongoing formative assessment. This allows me to identify challenge points for children and adapt their learning, so they make rapid progress. I ensure group sessions are engaging, collaborative and supportive using hands-on resources and the rapport I have with my students to encourage them to take risks in their learning.
