One-to-One Support

£50 per session (booked in blocks of 2 or 4)

Tailored tuition for children who benefit from individual support to close learning gaps and boost confidence. Perfect as a starting point or for ongoing focused help.

Who it's for
Perfect for children who need individual support before joining a group, or those who benefit long-term from focused attention. Common reasons include gaps in learning, low confidence, or needing a calmer pace.

What we do
Every session is adapted to your child’s needs. Whether it’s maths, reading, or SPaG, we meet your child where they are and gently stretch their skills forward. These sessions also allow Laura to build a strong rapport and assess which group might suit them best.

Outcomes
Increased confidence, targeted progress, and a trusted relationship between tutor and student.

KS2 Maths Boost - Yr3, 4 & 5

£25 per session

For children who need extra time to understand core maths topics. These groups use fun, hands-on learning to rebuild confidence, close gaps, and link with school topics when possible.

Who it's for
Children who feel lost in class, are behind their expected level, or need extra support understanding maths.

What we do
We revisit tricky concepts in a small, supportive group using physical resources, games, and lots of encouragement. Sessions often link to what your child is learning at school, helping them make those connections stick.

Outcomes
Improved understanding of maths, better classroom confidence, and fewer homework struggles.

Year 6 SATs Booster Group

£30 per session

Focused support in Maths, Reading, and SPaG to prepare for the Year 6 SATs. Ideal for children who need structure and reassurance ahead of the May tests.

Who it's for
Children who feel worried about SATs or want to feel more secure in their abilities ahead of the big tests.

What we do
We cover key areas of the curriculum in Maths, Reading, and SPaG with a mix of revision, tips, and confidence-building strategies. It’s not about pressure, it’s about feeling ready.

Outcomes
A calmer, more confident approach to SATs and stronger test results through steady preparation.

Year 5 11+ Prep (Torbay Exams in 2026)

£30 per session

Targeted sessions for Year 5 children preparing for the GL Assessment (Maths & English only). Includes high-level vocabulary work, confidence-building tasks, and access to optional mock exams later in the year.

Who it's for
Families considering grammar school routes (Torquay Girls’, Boys’ Grammar or Churston Ferrers) for their Year 5 child.

What we do
Weekly sessions combining high-level vocabulary, English and Maths challenges, mock questions, and games. Builds both subject skill and test-taking confidence. Optional mock exams available later in the year.

Outcomes
Deeper subject understanding, stronger vocabulary, and readiness for the 11+ entrance exam.

Year 4 11+ Prep (2027 Exams)

£25 per session

An earlier introduction to the 11+ approach for children who would benefit from a slower build-up. Focuses on fun, interactive ways to develop core English and Maths skills.

Who it's for
Children in Year 4 who may pursue grammar school and would benefit from an earlier start.

What we do
A gentler, more gradual pace that introduces core 11+ concepts in fun, manageable chunks. Focused on building strong literacy and numeracy foundations.

Stronger learning habits, increased familiarity with 11+ content, and more confidence for next year.

Year 3 11+ Prep (2028 Exams)

£25 per session

A gentle, supportive group for younger learners curious about the 11+ pathway. Encourages confidence and enjoyment while building strong foundations.

Who it's for
Younger learners who enjoy a challenge or want to explore the idea of grammar school early on.

What we do
Play-based sessions that ease children into the world of English and Maths reasoning. Lots of encouragement, games, and supportive praise to nurture a love of learning.

Outcomes
Positive attitudes toward learning, early skill development, and a strong head start.
